Not only is she backed by some of the top companies in the aftermarket auto industry as a drag racer, she also makes regular appearances at the biggest automotive events in the country alongside top industry drivers, sports stars, tv personalities, bands, & more. Krista first entered the automotive scene in late 2005 when she was picked up by a local tuner shop in NJ for promotional modeling work & was an instant hit. Gaining a substantial following right away, she worked her way up the ranks quickly as a model & drag racer. In 2007, she was picked up for sponsorship of her 2000 Mustang GT by Hillbank Motorsports/Superformance, Blow-By Racing, Paxton Superchargers, Saleen Speedlab, & Cervini's Auto Designs. For the next two years, she toured the show circuit with her Mustang, working trade shows for major aftermarket automotive companies like Hillbank Motorsports (SEMA 2007), Blow By Racing, & others. She made a pretty big impact in a short period of time, garnering features in numerous calendars, magazines, print ads, etc. across multiple industries.
In 2010, she turned her sights toward drag racing in the NMRA series & picked up a 2010 Grabber Blue Mustang GT. Almost immediately, Krista decided to install a Paxton Novi 2200 supercharger with the help of Blow-By Racing. Additional help to get Project Blue together came by way of JBA Exhaust, AmericanMuscle.com, Saleen SpeedLab, StreetCar1320.com, HouseofHID.com, Fatal Detail of MD, Altered Racin, & Murphy's Garage.
In May of 2013, Krista experienced major motor issues during her NMRA race. She later found out that she'd need a rebuild. With the expertise of JPC Racing, owners/builders of the quickest coyote in the country, Krista was able to get her car together just in time for the 2014 NMRA/NMCA race season. She continues racing the series for points in 2015, moving up to the Detroit Locker Truck & Lightning class, driving a blue Ford Ranger.
While Krista continues her success as a model, she has decided to pursue her Motorsports Media career in parallel with her budding racing career. You have most recently heard her on the radio, co-hosting Heels on Wheels Radio & In the Pits Racing Radio on the Performance Motorsports Network out of Washington DC, & doing guest spots for 93.3 WMMR The Preston & Steve Show out of Philadelphia, &1420AM ESPN Sports on Tap Radio out of St. Augustine FL, Performance Motorsports Network of MD, & podcasting with some of the best on the East Coast.
